*Sometimes during a transaction a real estate agent can work with a

tells the agent can be relayed to the seller. An example would be if
the buyer mentioned they would pay more for the house or property.
Dual Agency
Dual agency can occur when the buyer chooses to purchase a home that is
listed with the real estate firm that their agent works for. This form
of agency is common. During this agency form, the agent can not reveal
any information that would be confidential or personal to either party
about either party. Each item of a confidential matter will be kept
private. In this capacity the agent is basically a facilitator and is
working to handle the transaction in a fair and professional manner. If
a seller of a property does not elect to accept dual agency contracts
then they maybe eliminating any potential buyers from the firm they are
listed with. Also if a buyer decides they do not want to accept dual
agency they will be eliminating the listing that the firm has.
